Industrial
Cash Bases in Newhaven
Cash
Bases is a manufacturer of sheet metal products such as
cash tills. The Company moved to a new site in 1999. The
new site was 9500m2 of which 4000m2 was office area. The
main supply had to be upgraded to a 2500 kva supply via
a new transformer. The Shop floor was divided in to areas
of Assembly, Paint spray area, Welding and Laser cutting,
and Press machines, we installed the factory lighting throughout
these areas via Lowbay mercury fittings. Other work included
the installation the Fire Alarm and the Computer Network
in this project.

Flexible
Lamps in Harlow, Essex
Flexible
Lamps is an assembly plant for headlamp enclosures. This
was a Design and Build Project of which we installed the
power for machinery throughout the factory along with heating
and cooling control wiring and ventilation supplies. The
lighting was compact fluorescent throughout the factory
with task lighting for assembly desks. The Plant was divided
in to main switch room, toilets, restaurant, office area
and factory assembly area. Approximate size of the plant
7000m2.

Commercial and Residential
We
have undertaken the Design and Build of a number of commercial
projects here are some examples:
2005
Oaks Road, Tenterden.
A design and build project consisting of 17luxury flats and 5 Townhouses with an underground car park. Includes fire alarm , video entry , access systems and satellite TV.
2004
St Edmunds Church and Vicarage, Dartford.
This includes a medical centre with a church, this was a design and build project including fire alarm , access controls , panic alarm, nurse call system and a voice and data network.
2003
Clover
Street, Chatham Kent
A
block of residential homes with retail units underneath.
This job was a design responsibility, all electric heating
with communal lighting and power. Fire alarm and a warden
call system.
2002
Goswell
Road, London
This
project was in London EC1 and consisted of 36 luxury apartments
with gymnasium and courtyard with commercial offices on
the ground floor. It had two switch rooms to supply all
areas. Other systems included AOV system (automatic opening
vent) and Fire alarm, which operate together.
Duration of project - 24 weeks.
2001
Sun
Street, London
A
6 story office block each floor being able to take different
tenants if required. The building was installed with a 600amp
rising busbar for distribution via fuseboards on each floor.
The lighting was on a BMS management system. The power was
via power track under raised floor.
Also included in this project were the supply to Plant rooms
for the Heating and Ventilation supplied and Air Handling
equipment. Other systems installed include: Fire Alarm,
Intruder Alarm and Door Access System.
Duration of Project - 12 Weeks
2006
Haslingten Nursing Home, Greenhithe
30 bedroom extension and 15 bedroom refurbishment including an L1 Fire Alarm, Door Access systems and emergency lighting and Nurse Call system.
2006/2007
Albert Place, Strood
4 blocks consisiting of 50 flats , communal areas and car parks. Door entry and external lighting.
2007
Weavers Court
33 flats including communal areas outside lighting and door entry.
2006/2007
Costa Coffee
Complete installation of 6 franchises including Bromley, Orpington, Eton, Woolwich, Upminster, Hornchurch.
Eltham Leisure Centre and Library
Complete electrical installation of new leisure centre swimming pools and refurbishment of English Heritage listed library.
